This cavern is home to Severna Kron---a narcissistic sorcerer with dreams of taking over the world. Severna has built a following of undesirable creatures. These zealots will do what Severna wants¸ without question¸ in the hopes that they will be rewarded.
Most adventurers recognize Severna as just another fraud¸ much as Nubius was¸ and simply ignore the sorcerer. Among Severna's possessions¸ however¸ is the staff of rosenwood. It is an item with remarkable magical power and a tempting prize for adventurers willing to take the chance.
This side quest is designed so that a game master can run it with little to no preparation. It is scaled for four 4th-level characters.
