The Radiance Adventure Engine

You are the Player and the Gamemaster
The Radiance Adventure Engine is a supplement that allows you to play any tabletop roleplaying game as a single-player game! It can be used with any system¸ genre¸ or setting. Radiance's cards work like story prompts¸ allowing you to weave an infinite variety of story-rich adventures anytime¸ anywhere!
Not a solo player? Gamemaster's can also use Radiance as a tool at the table with friends to generate side-quests - or even entire adventures - on the fly.
How it Works
Play one or more heroes through a single-player adventure in The Radiance Adventure Engine. Each Radiance adventure starts with a Core Adventure Problem - a randomly generated narrative arc for the entire adventure. Using a 4-act narrative structure similar to books and movies¸ we break the adventure down into 8 Adventure Stages. At each Stage you draw Story and Detail cards to give that portion of the adventure its own drama. Each Story is then broken into multiple Paths and you choose the Path your hero takes. The Path cards contain system agnostic mechanics that you match to the RPG of your choice. Your hero then takes Actions (and you roll dice) to journey forth into the adventure.
More Ways to Play

Campaign Mode: Combine Radiance with our Luminous Campaign Engine to experience an entire campaign of solo-play adventures.
Roleplay and Write Mode: Turn Radiance into a journaling game with our Shine Storytelling Engine to roleplay your way through writing your novel or script.
GM-Optional Mode: Collaborate as a group of players to run a GM-less game or a round-robin game where players take turns directing the story.
