A Halloween Horror Scenario
Vibe: Weird Fairytale/Horror
Type: Location based; social interaction / puzzle; random encounters; timer; combat (as usual)
Characters: three to six characters of level 3-5
Players/GM: Experienced & Adult
While they travel on a road in the country in autumn¸ the fog thickens around the characters as they unsuspectingly cross into a limbo created by a malign fairy creature. A powerful hunter from the realms beyond sets forth on the nights before Samhain to fell new mortal victims. Finding themselves in a fog-shrouded landscape that bends back on itself¸ the characters have to deal with the strange creatures and cursed souls that dwell in it to find a way to escape¸ before the hunter arrives to bring them down.
Only through clever interaction with the other inhabitants (the Cursed Cadaver¸ the Haggard Goblins¸ the Crow-Witch and Forlorn John) will they gain the necessary hints to solve the puzzle. All the while¸ the hunter's minions as well as the Hunter himself will close in on them.
