The Gray Tower



The Gray Tower¸ built by a wizard long-gone¸ is now the subject of some mystique among villagers living nearby. Believing it to have been abandoned¸ those living within a few days' travel of the tower have been gripped by rumors of curses and evil hermits thanks to reported sightings of lights in the tower windows at twilight. Recently¸ the rumors have been added to by the disappearance of livestock in surrounding farms. A curse is said to have overtaken the village¸ and those with coins to spare have been waiting for traveling mercenaries or adventurers willing to look into the strange goings on.
This supplement is a short adventure designed for a party of characters between levels 3-5. As written I suspect a party at level 3 would find the adventure challenging but fun. However¸ optional changes included for cruelest of Dungeon Masters¸ or perhaps those planning to take the campaign in a hellish route¸ will make the adventure more suitable to level 5 characters.
