The Fungus Garden - An Undermountain encounter



The Undermountain is a dangerous¸ unforgiving place¸ with few chances for respite. The Fungus Garden offers one such opportunity‐ a cavern filled with a field of mushrooms and Myconids¸ patiently tended by a lone Drow druid. The Fungus Garden is an encounter fashioned for travels in Undermountain or in the Underdark¸ although with minor changes it can be adapted to any setting. It can serve as a safe haven for adventurers in hostile lands¸ a place to trade¸ rest¸ and engage in a variety of side-quests. Meet Vargos Halra'an ¸ a Drow druid dedicated to maintaining an unusual habitat of mushroom creatures. Rest from the terrors of the Undermountain and gain the trust of our druid through five potential side quests. Battle the White Sponge Mold ¸ a new creature molded by the Undermountain darkness! Featuring a detailed¸ hand drawn map¸ and two wonderful watercolour paintings. Has the Undermountain ever looked so adorable?
