The Earth That Eats
This is a short module for Characters level 10-12. In it¸ the PCs face a colony of giant insects that come out once every 29 years to take live prey. It is an exercise in horror modeled after the Aliens movies. As a DM there are a few ways you could use this in a campaign. The colony could be between the PCs and their goal. It could be a threat to people they need to keep safe. The hive also makes an excellent place to hide plot items¸ and comes with a good excuse for ancient things being lost there.
