Members of the Lords' Alliance ride daringly into the town of Redwater¸ bypassing all social and economic distractions and charging directly toward Grendar Mansion. All of them are part of a special force that has been sent to apprehend the infamous warlock¸ Mordai¸ at his home and lair on the outskirts of town. The estate sits on a hill just ahead of them¸ a nicely renovated structure that gives no indication of the extensive dungeons rumored to lie beneath it. Characters in this 3rd-Tier Adventure will delve deeply into a realm of strange and horrific magic as they attempt to thwart Mordai's evil plans. This module is designed to be run as a single 4 to 6-hour session for characters of 12th to 14th level¸ but it can easily be split into two separate sessions by pausing at the chasm descent in Chapter Two.
