We are also offering this as a Pay What You Want subscription for those suffering from financial hardship or other disadvantaged circumstances. Whether you pay with cash or enthusiasm¸ we're happy to have you. Within THE BUILD¸ Players will take on the task of building the most impressive dungeon in the world of Khylaeron¸ an original fantasy world created when a dying goddess fell onto the rocky planet's surface eons ago. The group must circumvent a dangerous culture and rival builders¸ use their magical and mechanical abilities to create a new wonder of the world (on budget)¸ and flex their growing socio-political network to destroy adversaries. The APERTURE Guide is an anthology gaming series that leverages our D20-based Aperture System to take players on a vast array of adventures in different genres and settings. Quickstart Rules are available within every release¸ making it easy to start with any Issue or Scenario and get up and running fast. In addition¸ many Issues come with an installment of The GUIDE'S Guide¸ an overview of Tips & Tricks to support those running the Aperture System or a specific Scenario. The Aperture System is a custom resolution system for roleplaying titles that leverages one die and one die alone: The iconic D20. Though fashioned as a ‘generic' system for use in any type of game¸ genre¸ or setting¸ Aperture was designed to be opinionated: It wants you to do awesome things in a ridiculous number of ways¸ as opposed to merely deciding ‘Yes' or ‘No'. Its mechanics are intended to encourage creative thought¸ storytelling within a roll¸ and common sense collaboration across your party. Though designed as a Skills-based system first and foremost¸ it provides straightforward guidelines for how to reproduce classes¸ playbooks¸ or other such templates within the system's operations with ease. In addition¸ it's flexible enough to tailor Skills to your group's preferences. Light or heavy¸ you can set it just right.
