Adventure: The Clouded Bog has always served as a burial site for the dead. Legends speak of an ancient temple now lost to the bog's dark waters¸ the Temple of the Fallen Moon. These stories speak of a great and compassionate high priestess¸ who led the temple and ensured those bound for the afterlife were cared for in their final hours.
However¸ her power corrupted her and she found a way to draw energy from death. Soon those brought to her only served to feed her growing might. As the priestess became more powerful¸ the temple around her became dark and twisted. At the height of her rule¸ she was turned on by her own¸ entombed alive and sealed away. Over time the temple was lost¸ consumed by the dark waters and the swirling mists of the bog.
Now something has awoken her from undeath¸ the temple's dark energy is once again leaching into the bog around it. The dead are rising and the priestess is rebuilding her power...
Can she be stopped?
