Sleepless in Stillbank
The quiet town of Stillbank has long stood alone and isolated. Nestled in a deep¸ mountain valley¸ on the side of a slow running river¸ Stillbank¸ has long been a peaceful and prosperous place. However¸ in recent weeks¸ the once peaceful town has begun to suffer a strange curse; as the townsfolk find themselves unable to sleep¸ plagued by horrific¸ haunting nightmares. Now¸ adventurers must decide between the lesser of two evils to save the town from its endless waking misery. My first short adventure¸ written as part of the RPG Writer Workshop¸ Winter 2019. This adventure is designed to be easily implemented into ongoing campaigns in a variety of different settings¸ or providing an intriguing and complex one-shot adventure. With ample helpings of social interaction¸ intrigue and exploration¸ there's something for all kinds of players. Feedback welcome¸ as I will be making revisions and updating this piece as needed.
