Plight of the Alterbaum Tree
Plight of the Alterbaum Tree is a Tier 1 adventure which lets the characters start at level 1 and end up at level 3 or 4. For ages¸ the druidic circle surrounding the Alterbaum Tree have tended to it and used it as a source of protective magic and natural items with magic of their own. Their connections to nature has even allowed them to ally with benevolent fey and elementals such as treants. Their presence has been a boon to nearby communities with their trade and commerce. But that has now changed. The Alterbaum Tree has been stricken by a strange blight. It slowly withers and the lands around it slowly decay with insects mutating into deadly creatures. The druids struggle to save their focus. Other grow angry¸ believing that outsiders are responsible and they target nearby communities to try and flush the one responsible out. The situation is tense and the Alterbaum Tree continues to die. Can your party be the ones to end this disease and save the druid circle?
