Planar Exile

Planar Exile is a self sufficient module for a party of adventurers from level 5 to level 9. It is designed to be easy to adapt¸ augment and integrate into any campaign or as its own mini adventure. It should take 3 to 5 sessions to complete.
This module contains :
- 17 interconnected half planes
- A giant puzzle to find the correct combinations of the Infernal Machine of Lum the Mad
- A homebrew evolutive artefact : Butcher¸ the flail of Yeenoghu
- A homebrew boon : the blessing of Lum the Mad.
I have run it as part of my homebrew campaign Heralds of Starvation¸ and as a transition between Out of the Abyss and Rage of Demons¸ both time with great success.
This module will take the players through a maze of demi planes and a wide variety of encounters : a deal with devils¸ an arena rulled by Githiankis¸ a giant puzzle to decipher troughout the module.
The DM can easily add demi planes of their own creation¸ integrate clues to their scenario or reference to their players' backstory.
I made this module to be able to shoehorn every crazy encounters I had in mind while keeping the narrative coherent and to control the rythm of the session: alternating combat¸ social and puzzle encounters. I hope that with this book¸ you will be able to do the same.
