Sometimes¸ they end with the adventurer taking an unexpected (and permanent) dirt nap. It doesn't feel good for you¸ the GM¸ or the player. But as a GM¸ you can help bestow a little honor and respect on that unfortunate day by extending to your player a custom¸ fillable 8.5"x11" certificate that memorializes the life and value of their character.
