This short document includes character options inspired by our recently released NPC compendium¸ Retired Adventurers¸ available here. Out of Retirement (Background) Ideal for creating new mid-level characters¸ this background offers some unique roleplaying inspiration and features based on both the reason for your initial retirement¸ and the circumstances that called you back to the life of an adventuerer. Heroic Boons and Feats of Legend This collection of feats and boons can be used to add variety to a new mid-level character¸ or allow an existing character to follow in the footsteps of a famous retired adventuerer when levelling up. Additionally¸ we encourage DMs to use these Feats and Boons as rewards for characters as the progress. Trinkets of the Past This fully complete trinket table offers 100 new items to inspire and delight. Many of these items link to a famous retired adventurer to encourage collaborative worldbuilding from all members of the party!
