Naturalism
My 9th Guide. Now I take on the weakest of skills in 5e. I present a new skill that merges Animal Handling¸ Medicine¸ and Nature into Naturalism. It's another opportunity to make your campaign feel unique.
>>> Skills should be balanced. By balanced I mean each choice should be hard. The skills of Animal Handling¸ Medicine¸ and Nature are not hard choices¸ they are bad choices occasionally taken for roleplaying purposes. But now¸ Naturalism becomes a hard skill to pass up. <<<
- Creating a hero that loves nature shouldn't cripple their game play. Naturalism is a single slot that takes care of lots of roleplaying.
- Magical herbs are minor consumables that add a lot of gameplay.
- Harvesting monsters is a fun way to get loot at low-levels.
