Monsters Unleashed
It's good to be bad. Sometimes in roleplaying games you want to play a party of heroic adventurers¸ exploring the world¸ looting dungeons¸ slashing monsters and generally defending the world against the armies of darkness (a generic kind¸ not a zombie one under copyright). Other times¸ you want to be that darkness. Every once in a while it's fun to play the horrors that all the other adventurers fear. Or maybe you just look like those horrors but on the inside¸ you're just as confused and messed up as the rest of the them. This supplement provides six new races for players (or NPCs) in your D&D campaigns: fledgling vampires ¸ flesh golems ¸ ghosts ¸ lycanthropes ¸ medusa half-bloods and trollkin. Unlike the traditional races available all of these are of a monstrous nature¸ usually found in as antagonists in gothic horror or ancient myths as opposed to begin protagonist adventurers. The final chapter in this supplement is a one-shot adventure ¸ Breaking Out ! ¸ which was originally designed for playtesting the new races and is included for your enjoyment!
