Mini Adventure - Threatened River

There are rumors that a war will break out at the hands of the empire because neighboring kingdoms have refused allegiance and submission. One threat is the most recurrent¸ the river that flows from the empire to the other kingdoms would be poisoned on its frontier¸ affecting all that are later in its course. The kingdoms have stationed armies on the borders to ensure this is not done¸ heated meetings are constantly taking place. The crown of one of the kingdoms that can be most affected believes that the empire will do so in a more discreet way and involving arcane spells. As it is not possible to move the guard for espionage¸ the crown is summoning trusted people to do so¸ and if necessary¸ eliminate any threat.
