The vessel carrying the royalty sank when facing a sudden storm. Its members were on such a sea voyage with diplomatic intentions¸ going to visit a kingdom of interest with a proposal for a commercial and military union. The information that reached the coast was that the tragedy occurred near a small uncivilized island that is in the route. The nobility's assumption is that they may be alive and sheltered on such an island¸ and that they must be rescued. An expedition funded by the kingdom was organized in order to rescue them¸ or at least find out what happened to the bearers of the crown
