The party comes across "Auntie Mathilda's Magical Mysteries" during their adventures¸ and meet Mathilda¸ a kindly old woman selling magical items who is actually a hag. She will either strike a deal with one or more PCs¸ or offer the party a magical item that gives the party negative effects. When she sets up her lair in an area the PCs frequent¸ they finally get their chance to rid themselves of her ill effects. The intention of this adventure is that Chapters 1 and 2 will be interspersed while the party is up to other adventures. The tension builds and eventually comes to a head with Chapter 3. It can be played in any rural setting. Chapters 1-2 can be played with players of any level. It is recommended that a four-player party reach level 5 before chapter 3.
