Or you could pull out this supplement and make something weird¸ whacky¸ funny¸ scary¸ impactful¸ or dangerous happen. Let Sleeping Guards Lie is a short supplement that allows you to create strange consequences for seemingly easy kills. The supplement divides consequences into short-term and long-term effects ¸ and divides each of those categories further into irrelevant¸ inconvenient¸ or dangerous. Want a bit of silly flavor? Add short-term¸ irrelevant consequences. Want to turn a seemingly easy kill into a harrowing adventure? The guard turns back into their Doppleganger form¸ setting off a massive conspiracy. A few rolls on this table¸ and your players will hesitate to go for an 'easy' kill again!
