JASMINE¸ Journey Into Power Coloring Book
Jasmine: Journey into Power coloring book is innovative and uses what I've learned and intuited about coloring books to another level. Although it works perfectly well for children¸ it's not JUST a simple coloring book. It can also be a tool for personal growth¸ which uses the characters from The Story of Jasmine and symbols to effect the desired change in one's life. Few people know about The Story of Jasmine adventure saga¸ fewer still have been around during its inception in 1980. The story resurfaced two years ago. With the help of my patrons* at (patron.com/darlene-artist)¸ I have been able to refurbish the original story for a new 2020 audience. Coloring is good¸ first of all¸ because it makes you feel as if you are actually doing something to affect your health and well-being. And who knows¸ maybe you would be if you performed coloring mindfully. That's what I do. I create energetic art to be used as coloring pages using symbols that relate to certain qualities. The energy I placed within the lines may be unlocked by others through the act of coloring. It's putting sacred art to work. What good is just looking at art when you can interact with it and thereby derive energy from it? I'm acknowledging my power to place energy into my art which others can receive-especially if we are on the same wavelength. The new concept is that¸ by concentrating on the art¸ while in the act of coloring¸ puts you in a light trance-like state and makes you open to the power of mood-amplifying color. Through coloring¸ you are engaging the body. By embodying your spiritual intention through color¸ while getting in sync with your intuition through my art¸ you are able to make a connection with your unconscious self. Your route is through the heart¸ by-passing the usual pitfalls which lie in wait for you in the mental world. You have arrived at the place that makes the most difference and with the power to enable change. In whatever hidden places within yourself which are resistant to your healing¸ you can talk to them directly through symbols and color. That's how it's possible to effect real change in your life through conscious coloring. Remember¸ any act can be an act of self-empowerment. This one won't even cost that much. What do you have to lose but a defeatist attitude?
