The town of Lullin endures a diverse scope of weather conditions. The summers are blistering and the winters are harsh. This winter is no different as a local woodsman attempts to capitalize on his neighbor's discomfort.
With no training in the arcane arts¸ Strannon Autumnward has made an attempt to summon fire elementals into the homes of his customers¸ planning to trap them in holding cells to be used as living furnaces.
The designs went off perfectly in his own home¸ as the spell scroll he purchased was the real thing. However¸ his attempts to replicate the mystical bindings by his own hand have proven... Faulty.
Demons from the abyss were set loose on an innocent town¸ leaving a trail of blood and the stench of rot in their wake. And an ignorant¸ but well-meaning woodsman is to blame. Will the party spare him and clean up his mess? Or let the angry mob of villagers have him?
