Traveling through a mountain forest¸ the party has come upon a mournful scene: a caravan of entertainers is burying one their own. The entertainers relate that they had stopped for the day to repair a damaged wagon that they had found near the side of a cliff wall. After completing some of the repairs the entertainers were set upon by a wild beast from the forest¸ killing one of their own. They entreat the party to stay and protect them for the night as they finish the repairs on the mysterious wagon they have discovered.
