Facets of Fire

It is the year of our Lord 1321¸ the setting is the town¸ castle and priory of Dudley¸ within the northern reaches of Worcestershire.

The Monks of Dudley Priory are in disaray¸ the Abbot of Wenlock Abbey¸ their mother Monastery¸ has disapeared on route to the Priory bringing with him a Holy Relic.

Seeking help they have hired the Characters to help them. They have discovered that the Abbot has been taken by the local Baron Sir John de Somery¸ a tyrant who regards himself as King of all his dominion regardless of the wishes of the King of England.

The monks require the characters to rescue the Abbot and recover the Holy Relic before it gets used for evil acts.
