Drops of Juniper

The rainy season has come to the Basserain Fields in southern Tres¸ a welcome time for the local farmers. This includes the Dakuri Manor¸ famous for their juniper brandy¸ known to those that frequent the taverns of the region as Gold Leaf Brandy. Also with the arrival of the rains¸ the peculiar lady from the overgrown hills makes her yearly visit to Alutum Banshiir. But this year¸ she was chased out before making any purchases. Days after¸ one of the Dakuri fields became riddled with a voracious caterpillar¸ threatening to plague their entire crop. Things have become desperate.
Drops of Juniper is a Q-Encounter¸ or Quick-Encounter¸ that can be run for a group of four to six players with 10th-level characters. This encounter would be considered a 'medium' to 'hard' encounter.
Q-Encounters are designed to drop into your game where needed. They are meant to add flavor to a campaign¸ giving a little depth to a combat encounter.
