The sun never sets in Death Mesa. It hangs directly overhead and goes through a cycle of being bright white-hot to dim cool-blue light. The inhabitants are all stuck here¸ and Sugar Skull City at the center is one of the few places where it is safe to live.
This campaign setting has guns¸ hover hot-rods¸ saguaros¸ and the most punk-rock gonzo encounters for twisted role-players. The party plays premade characters who are notorious degenerates in Sugar Skull City. They overhear a conversation about a large shipment of gold coming in the morning and decide to steal it. Having no idea which of the dangerous gang bosses they just stole from¸ the party must make alliances¸ hide¸ run¸ and fight if they want to keep their ill-gotten loot and their lives.
