We¸ the goblins¸ are in possession of a valuable member of your clan¸ Orpip the Masterful Tinker. We request a ransom of 10¸000 gold pieces for his safe return¸ not a piece less.
We understand that you may be hesitant to cooperate with us¸ but we stress that time is of the essence. If we don't receive the gold before the next full moon¸ we will have no choice but to take drastic measures. We will be forced to feed Orpip to the slime¸ a fate most ghastly.
We hope that you will take action quickly. We assure you that once the ransom is paid¸ Orpip will be returned to you. Failure to cooperate with us will result in dire consequences.

This adventure is designed for low level play (1st - 2nd) and pits the heroes against low CR opponents in dealy situations¸ showcasing basic traps from the game.
