A 5E compatible adventure for 1st to 3rd level characters
A child is missing¸ taken during the annual Festival of Reaping. Taken perhaps by the same cobold raiders that attacked the festival earlier. Thankfully¸ you were there to defend the town and drive them away. But why kidnap a child? Now the clock is ticking; can you rescue the child and discover why she was taken? Something sinister is lurking in the shadows¸ and you need to find out that what is.
The adventure opens with the characters visiting the coastal town of De-Chandelin to enjoy some good food and drink while attending the annual Festival of Reaping. After an attack by cobold raiders¸ they are asked to help investigate the disappearance of a young child. Their search leads them to Carlisle's Keep¸ an abandoned castle with a sinister reputation all its own. While at the keep¸ they face off against the cobolds¸ and discover a more sinister plot to resurrect an ancient goddess and plunge with world into chaos.
