The remains of an ancient hobgoblin daimyo have finally been traced to a museum in Baldur's Gate¸ and now his people wish to recover his body and bring him home. However¸ something shadowy seems to dog their steps ‐ is it angry museum staff members trying to recover what they think is theirs¸ or something darker and far more sinister... A four-hour one-shot adventure for four 8th-level players explores themes of repartiation of remains¸ respect for the dead¸ discussion of memory and legacy¸ and tradition. You take up the roles of four hobgoblin warriors sent to collect the remains of a long-dead daimyo and bring him home. With fantastic art from Miss Alppy and Joshua Clarke¸ this adventure is one part social-historical commentary¸ and one part dungeon-delving horror.
