Greetings~ I am Søren Kraak Wollenberg The product you see before you is meant to be played as an extension to the adventure "Baldur's Gate: Descend into Avernus" The purpose of this product is to cover a lacking feature in the official adventure which struck me as strange when first reading the book. With how focused the overall adventure is on encouraging the players to explore the wastelands of Avernus¸ one would have imagined the book to contain a Random Encounter Table¸ thus giving players something to actually do within the wastes. So¸ this product attempts to solve this issue¸ detailing several pages of random encounters that further explores the features of Avernus¸ including locations and creatures of D&D's past¸ as well as tropes relating to depictions of Hell across popular culture. Within this product¸ you will find the following¸ among other things: The unhealthy vestige of a mighty wizard's imprisonment. A paladin and her sacred motorcycle. Fiendish dragons hunting the Avernian wastes for their next meal. Beholders inclined to bring you doom. A gang of Avernian warlords dedicated to the kobold creator-god.
