This adventure that can be played in any 5e compatible world.
Plot This adventure takes place in the world "Arde" (or any 5e compatible world)¸ in the city "Paragios”. The city is a rich mercantile city on a small island. It is governed by a city council¸ which members are voted into their office by the citizens¸ whenever one dies or resigns.
Explore the feud of the wizard Richard Stargaze and the Rogue Brian Ambergleam. Both are influential members of the city council. Stargaze wants Ambergleam dead as they both fight over the rule of the city. Therefore¸ he summons a group of Demons to rid himself from Ambergleam once and for all. This group of Demons are the players. In this adventure¸ Richard Stargaze forms a contract that binds the players to do his bidding¸ giving them parameters that must not be broken. But also leaving loopholes for the players to exploit.
Will you be a loyal servant or remind them that demons are not to be toyed with?
Important note for playing this adventure in other worlds than "Arde”:
The population of this world should hate and fear demons in equal measure. A demon walking around without a convincing disguise should very quickly be faced by at least one mob of guardsmen as peasants flee in terror.
