A Fungus Among Us: The Crystal Caverns An illness spreads across the lands¸ the common people are without ability to combat it. Now¸ with the arrival of brave adventurers¸ these people have a chance to survive! Come forth all ye who seek to save others and preserve lives¸ there are many that need saving. This is a tier 1 adventure for characters of levels 1 to 4. It's designed as a beginning dungeon adventure for any campaign and is ideal for introducing new players to the game. The Crystal Caverns can be inserted into any campaign area of any terrain type. The Crystal Caverns are generally made of common earth and stone¸ unremarkable except for the large crystal formations that form there. Though attractive¸ the crystals are common and not particularly valuable¸ inciting the locals to leave the area generally unexplored. The Crystal Caverns are a natural formation¸ untouched by humanoids¸ and there is no light inside beyond what the PCs bring with them.
