The premise is an uprising (a successful one) by the POWs of a GUPVI POW Camp near Severobaikalsk on the Baikal Amur Mainline offshoot of the Trans Siberian RR hooking up with the local separatist Partisans¸ the Baikal People's Armym¸ and stumbling across a secret Magazine full of stockpiled obsolete WW2 and 1950's weaponry -- enough to allow the POWs to form a Brigade sized Task Force ('Battlegroup Blue') and leavce lots over for the Partisans to form their own army.
BGB will attempt to emulate the exploits of the Czechoslovak Legion of WW1 and fight its way back home -- but will move west towards European USSR and drive through the remnant heartlands of a mortally wounded Soviet state ...
