o celebrate the 20th Mecha vs Kaiju product¸ I want to go back to the beginning. In 2005¸ Green Ronin planned to release a setting-free version of the D20 system they called True20. They held a setting design contest to showcase the versitility of the system¸ and Mecha vs Kaiju was chosen to be one of the settings found in the core rulebook. I was ecstatic! This book is the result of that opportunity. In those pre-online sales days¸ not much came of this first edition of MvK¸ but in just a few years the increased popularity of giant monsters and robots brought it back in style.
