"Eternal beings of immeasurable power walk the timeless realms¸ their very existence beyond the limits of human comprehension. But there is always some fool who tries to play with fire.
A pathetic mortal summoned you¸ attempting to bend you to their will¸ but your strength was far too great for them to overcome. They stole your adornments of power¸ leaving you naked and humiliated-then they tried to reason with you¸ to negotiate. You rejected their pitiful overtures with stony silence.
For decades¸ you remained trapped within their summoning circle until finally¸ they slipped up. One careless mistake was all it took¸ and freedom was yours. But until you can track down and reclaim your stolen artifacts¸ you will never be able to return to your former glory.”
Inspired by TV shows such as Sandman¸ Lucifer¸ and Supernatural¸ Sundered Chains is a standalone scenario for the Tricube Tales system and is usable as a micro-setting¸ but it is also a fully self-contained one-page RPG in its own right. You can print it on a single sheet of paper: The first page includes everything you need to play¸ while an optional second page expands the adventure generator with examples and twists . The PDF uses layers for ease of printing .
This product was initially conceived as an alternative scenario for Twisted Wishes ¸ answering the question of what happens if the characters can't-or won't -grant any wishes. It can also be used as a sequel¸ exploring the characters' fate once they've finally escaped their summoner. The two products can also be combined for a larger list of antagonists and a double-sized twist table.
