Tianxia Accelerated is a set of guidelines for using Tianxia: Blood¸ Silk & Jade with Fate Accelerated Edition!
This PDF acts as an Appendix to the Kung Fu fantasy setting outlined in Tianxia: Blood¸ Silk & Jade. It is designed to help fans of Fate Accelerated Edition use the Kung Fu rules and character creation outlined in Tianxia: Blood¸ Silk & Jade with Approaches rather than Skills. Designed as a "stretch goal" reward from our first Tianxia Kickstarter campaign¸ we are now making this product available to everyone!
A simple table will help you convert your Jianghu Rank into invocations for your Chi Armor¸ and guidelines for assigning Approaches to different Kung Fu Elements and Body substyles. Sidebars and expanded explanations throughout help illustrate how to implement the various guidelines. We have also included the Tianxia: Blood¸ Silk & Jade sample player characters in accelerated form so you can see how it all comes together in the end! Additionally¸ we have included a few example "Mobs" and "Mooks" to get GMs started on making Accelerated Tianxia NPCs.
Presented as our latest "Pay what you want" product¸ this PDF was created as an extension of the Tianxia line of gaming books thanks to our Kickstarter Campaign. We are making it available to the public¸ because we think it's too awesome to keep to ourselves¸ but it works best when you also have the core book Tianxia: Blood¸ Silk & Jade and the Fate Core System rulebook¸ as well as a set of Fate or Fudge dice.
