The Tetrarch Tarot Roleplaying System(TTRS) is a card based pool system based on 5 talents. Players customize their decks to the needs of their characters. High and ancient court cards argument play with the ability to change the outcome of fate.
Each of the five professions brings a different playstyle to the game: The magic wielding Magi¸ knightly Protectors¸ agent Reapers¸ The brave warriors of Ra¸ and the journeymen TeKs. Each profession has two prebuilt character builds for quick play.
Play as one of four unique races¸ The stubborn Menkha¸ fickle Bast¸ warrior Anubi¸ or the steadfast Humans.
The player's codex contains the core rules to play the game¸ species¸ professions¸ equipment¸ skills¸ fighting styles¸ and spells.
The game is built with customization in mind. A skill purchase system to craft unique characters to survive the perils of modern fantasy-a massive equipment section with modifications to weapons and ammunition. Fighting styles to add specialized combat scene actions to characters. The game has a comprehensive and unique spell system that leaves the outcome of the spell to fate.
A storytelling scene system that requires the squad to work together in combat and skill scenes.
Engage in tactical combat designed from a combat veteran¸ to close with and kill the enemies of the empire. In combat scenes¸ characters describe their actions in single thought called a motion. Scenes are quick and brutal¸ where the metal meets the mana.
The game is deadly as characters and NPCs are on equal footing. Characters suffer disfigurements as they navigate a world wrought with danger.
