Tasniim is a Sci-Fi/Horror TTRPG created in 5 weeks for Pocket Quest 2023!
A brief sample adventure¸ "Gone Dark"¸ is included so you can (maybe literally) get your feet wet in this cosmic-horror setting about humanity trying to find a new home 800 light-years from Earth.
It was inspired by my love of TTRPGs like Monster of the Week¸ Blades in the Dark¸ and D&D. Darkest Dungeon¸ and Mass Effect are also huge influences¸ both thematically and mechanically. The setting basically came from me wondering what both games would look like if they were combined.
This document is truncated to fit the page limit of the event and is more of a primer than a full guidebook as it lacks most of the Eldritch Horror elements of the setting in favor of the basic mechanics.
