Goldenrod Guides are intended to be a toolbox of variant rules and ideas for you to use in your Swords & Wizardry game! This book focuses on various options related to combat¸ such as using weapon proficiencies and combat styles¸ as well as introducing rules for running jousts and other competitive tournaments.
Now with a Forward by Matt Finch"Back at the very beginnings of the Swords & Wizardry project¸ we had a couple of different goals in mind. First was to offer people the kind of open-ended rules that characterize the very beginning of role-playing games.
