Alkeda Dawn is a supplement for Third Edition Starfire created by Mark Costello and Bryant Wu. Alkeda Dawn tells the story of the Vestrii before fleeing across the galaxy away from the Hre'Daak. As the Vestrii reached out into the stars¸ they encountered and warred against two invaders: The Kess and the J'Rill. The Kess are a race of religious orders that bring their religious tenets to other races through force. The J'Rill are thought to be the remnants of a highly advanced race that was destroyed¸ and the remaining cybernetic machines have become a parasite that plunders organics and technology that they discover through the universe in the name of survival. Will the Vestrii survive and carve out their own place in the galaxy? Alkeda Dawn introduces a completely new set of technologies and weapon systems¸ and a customized campaign system for playing out the Vestrii expansion. Alkeda Dawn still requires the 3rd Edition Tactical Rulebook and Imperial Starfire to play out the starship combats and the strategic gameplay. This PDF contains only the rulebook.
