Integrated Transport
Chimaerus [ ki-mer'is ] is an adventurer-oriented medium sized vessel that is made up of three independent ships:
• Leaena (the Lion) - the main body of the ship¸ holding the living quarters¸ medical¸ and FTL systems. This is the largest of the three sections and also serves as a command & control center for the small fleet.
• Krios (the Ram) - a boxy freighter that is little more than a long hold with a small cabin and flight deck on top. When docked it sits between the forward mandibles of the main hull and serves as the primary cargo hold for Chimaerus.
• Drakon (the Dragon) - an armored drop ship or sturdy passenger shuttle. It docks facing rearward at the tail end of the Leaena hull with it's turret serving as a tail gunner emplacement.
The purpose of Chimaerus is to provide a mobile base of operations for a group of heroes or mercenaries¸ but one that can split up when needed to accomplish more. There are half a dozen cabins on board¸ plus ten capsule-bunks for additional crew¸ marines¸ or passengers; and a couple more beds on the freighter and in the brig if needed.
The ship is well armed and armored; more than capable of handling itself in a fight. The Drakon attack shuttle can serve as an armored dropship¸ passenger transport¸ or recon vessel. Even the Krios cargo ship could serve as a missile boat while Leaena coordinates the attacks and brings its own considerable firepower to bear.

• Map Pages
- 27 page PDF file containing complete interior maps and instructions for assembly.
- Miniature-scale maps for tactical combat with an optional 1 inch = 5 ft grid.
- Divided into pages for easy printing in full color or printer-friendly black and white.
- Selectable layers include: grid¸ black & white version¸ and optional cargo.
• Uncut Map Images
- Four PDF files containing large¸ uncut images of the deckplans for the ships.
- Includes 29x36 and 24x36 inch images of the Chimaerus combined ship plus
smaller images (12x12 and 17x20) for Krios and Drakon.
- Select either a light or dark background (for printing or projection/display).
- Includes layers for grid¸ black & white version¸ optional cargo¸ and background choice.
- Flat jpeg images¸ grid-aligned¸ on a dark background are also provided for use on screen.
