Sathar Cutter

This is a recreation of the the original miniature produced back in the 80's for the Star Frontiers RPG. It was produced at the same scale as the original minature and stands 40mm (1.56") tall when printed and is 48mm (1.9") wide. Tested on both FDM and SLA printers. Here's an image of the model printed with an SLA printer. The stand base is 1" in diameter. The download file has a smoother surface than themodel used for this print. Fans of the Star Frontiers game may recognize the shape of this ship as the silhouette on the counter for the UPF Minelayer. However¸ the miniature blister pack that the original mini came in labeled it as the Sathar Cutter and packaged it together with the Sathar Frigate. I've chosen to keep that designation as it looks more like the sathar ships than the UPF ships. We did a write-up of the game stats for the cutter in the "Friend or Foe?" article in issue 2 of the Frontier Explorer. All of my re-creation miniatures are pay-what-you-want products.
