As you peruse the shelves of junk in the abandoned shop¸ something catches your eye...
Trinkets are an excellent way to introduce an additional bit of wonder into any campaign of D&D. Traditionally¸ these strange objects are given nothing more than a short description¸ something to spark the imagination of players and Dungeon Masters. Sometimes though¸ we want those small bits of wonder to go deeper¸ to tell us about the past of the universe¸ to add flavor to the present¸ and to provide chances for future adventure.
This supplement is intended for use with the Spelljammer campaign setting. It comes in two parts:
Astral Trinkets can be given to players when they need to roll for finding a trinket. It contains only short descriptions.
Astral Trinket Mysteries contains more detailed information about each trinket and how the characters who find those trinkets can learn more about them¸ often unlocking wondrous powers. Many entries here still contain only hints or inspiration¸ rather than full explanations. Look at them as tools to help you create adventures that fit your campaign.
