One of the things that has managed to keep the Known Lands so homogenous over the course of the Golden Age¸ the Age of Thunder¸ and now the Age of the Darkfall is the consistent calendar used across the face of the entire continent. In the time before the Peace of Rose¸ each culture had its own calendar¸ its own map of measuring elapsed time¸ and made coordinating events or even travel between kingdoms difficult. Now a single system of days¸ weeks¸ months¸ and years allows for tremendous simplicity when dealing with indivdiuals from different nations.
