The World of Retra is a tamed place. The Ravnivori Empire has conquered the entire planet after centuries of war. Most of its citizens are pleased to finally have peace and stability.

There are those who are not content unless they are facing danger so even in a world of peace¸ there are those who are not happy. And Ravnivorous himself¸ the ancient living emperor has famously said "an empire that is not growing is dying."

Fortunately¸ for both those who want exploration and adventure and the needs of the empire¸ the Ravnivori have recently discovered a method of travelling through the dark space between worlds. For those with the skills and courage¸ the sky is no longer the limit and adventure and opportunity awaits beyond the world.

Of course¸ the worlds beyond are not uninhabited and the Ravnivori are not the first to discover the secrets of travelling through the stars. Other star faring nations¸ merchants¸ and pirates await the Ravnivori as they make their first¸ clumsy reaches into the sky.
