Behemoth The Guardian of Two Worlds
Isaac Ingerna is a bright young man born in Mexico and raised in Southern California. He went to the University of Southern California and moved on to get a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering. From there he was hired by Filsner Aeronautics and worked with Dr. Filsner on making private space flight affordable to the masses.
While working for Filsner Aeronautics¸ Isaac learned that Dr. Filsner was the Sentinel¸ the power-armored superhero who protected L.A. and the surrounding environs. Unfortunately¸ he learned it when Dr. Filsner was nearly killed by Backlash¸ a villain who can blow things up by touching them. This happened during a battle at the Filsner Aeronautics compound just outside of L.A. During the battle¸ Isaac saved the Sentinel and stopped Backlash. Dr. Filsner was severely injured - he would eventually lose his left arm at the elbow and right leg below the knee - but because of Isaac's heroics he was the clear choice for Dr. Filsner to pass the mantle of the Sentinel on to.
