Welcome to the Free City of Vadashar: 2022 Annual¸ a comprehensive two-volume collection that includes all of ZealZaddy's published content for the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition roleplaying game from the year 2022.
Volume I is comprised of our thirteen major non-player character (NPC) supplements and our two encounter packs. Each NPC contains a deep-dive into their backstory¸ current position or relation to the City of Vadashar¸ important connections throughout the city or the megacontinent of Zul¸ and guidance on how to integrate them into your campaign. The encounter packs have hundreds of encounters you can use in your urban campaign.
The Vadashar & the World of Zul setting for D&D combines a variety of fantasy motifs¸ environs¸ and elements: Sword and Sorcery of Robert E. Howard's Conan the Barbarian¸ the city-based adventuring¸ politics¸ intrigue¸ and derring-do found in Scott Lynch's "Gentleman Bastard” sequence¸ the fun and continuity of a shared urban-based universe of the "Thieves' World” novels and stories¸ the carefree swashbuckling of Fritz Leiber's Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser and Matthew Hughes' Raffalon¸ and the modern science fiction horror of the "Alien” and "Prometheus” film franchises.
