The Prince and His Shadow



After thousands of years of servitude to their masters humans have escaped to a new world where they are their own masters. After several years of establishing a settlement the king of the Lazary¸ Fitz Lazar¸ decides they should further explore this new world. He sends his oldest living son west along the coast while he sends his youngest son south. The Prince and His Shadow follows the younger of the two¸ Bregor¸ and the small company of men he selects to explore this new world with him. Seemingly unpopulated it won't be long before Bregor learns that this new world has dangers of its own and humanity is not as alone here as they first believed and this novel is only the beginning of his long journey.
The Prince and his Shadow is only the first book of the series Journey To the Living Forest which itself is the beginning of a much larger Saga concerning the Cracked World. Like all good saga's the beginning begins slowly and builds coming to a head between the forces of freedom and tyranny.
