A few light-years away from Earth¸ closer to the center of the galaxy¸ is a planet called Marc'harid. Seen from space¸ it looks very much like Earth¸ albeit with different geography. It's inhabited by Humanoids that look pretty much like us¸ except they're all blessed with telepathy. They call themselves the Sire and pride themselves on having the best technology in the galaxy... Three generations of Sire teens¸ before and after the fall of the Galactic Empire.
