Short Story-The Barrow Downs



This short story is based on the adventure "The Dirk and Shield Inn." The adventure is available free on dmguild.com. The idea for this short story came about when I was play testing the adventure with four characters I made for the test. While playing I thought it would be an interesting idea to write the encounters and events as a story to supplement the adventure. I have attached character sheets of the four characters used in the back for reference. Note: Instead of using the original setting as outlined in the adventure¸ I decided to change the setting to my own fantasy world called Allusia and in particular a region called ‘The Disputed Territories'.
